Turn on your TV. In SmartThings, choose Devices, +, then Add device, TV, Samsung. Follow the TV’s PIN or approval instructions.

On your Roku, open Settings > System > Advanced system settings > Control by mobile apps > Network access > Enabled. Developer mode is not required. A successful status read does not prove buttons are allowed.
